The Alberta Society for the Promotion of Sexual Health (ASPSH) believes that sexual health and well-being include the integration of all aspects of sexuality in a manner that is positively enriching and life-enhancing, and contributes to the individual’s self-worth throughout the lifespan for all through:

  • Comprehensive sexuality education

  • Public Education

  • Advocacy

  • Acquisition, utilization and distribution of information and resources

  • Networking and support

ASPSH Membership

Membership in ASPSH is of interest to persons and representatives from community agencies and institutions who:

  • Have an interest or provide services in the area of sexual health, education, counselling or clinical services

  • Are supportive of the concept that all individuals have the right to comprehensive sexual health information

  • Promote tolerance and understanding in matters of human sexuality and sexual health

Members of ASPSH receive:

  • Notices of upcoming workshops and events

  • The ability to vote at ASPSH’s AGM

  • Reduced registration fees for workshops/conferences

ASPSH sponsors professional development workshops, online sexual health education workshops, and biennial sexual health conferences.
