About ASPSH

Our Mission:

To promote optimal sexual and reproductive health and well-being throughout the lifespan for all.

The Alberta Society for the Promotion of Sexual Health (ASPSH) is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1993 to provide education and training opportunities for sexual health professionals and other individuals interested in sexual health.

Our first biennial Western Canadian conference on Sexual Health was held in 1994 and we are excited to host our 15th conference in May 2023. Our conferences and other education and training events address sexual health programming, prevention, health promotion and support strategies. Feedback from conference and workshop participants revealed a keen desire for ongoing and consistent education and training opportunities.
