This 3 module workshop will expand awareness, knowledge and skills by exploring the basics of taking a comprehensive, inclusive and non-stigmatizing sexual health history, providing current evidence informed information about contraceptive methods and sexually transmitted infection & blood borne pathogens (STBBIs). Participants will have the opportunity to explore the topics in a safe learning environment, share resources and expand their professional network.

Tammy Troute-Wood has worked in Sexual and Reproductive Health for 15 years. She has worked as a clinic RN at Alberta Health Services, Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinics (Family Planning Clinics) and has been working in the role of Sexual and Reproductive Health Specialist since 2008.
